Saints Have Plenty of Good Competition in the NFC if They Want to Reach the Super Bowl

The Saints road to the Super Bowl this season will not be an easy one, but one that they know well as they are still dealing with the letdown of last season’s NFC Divisional Playoff loss to the Minnesota Vikings, a game that Saints fans know the ending of all too well.

Looking ahead to 2018, the team has high hopes, and in checking with betting sites like rushbet, you can see that the Saints are getting a lot of love as they are currently 16 to 1 to win the Super Bowl in February.

The Champion Philadelphia Eagles are 10 to 1 to repeat as champs, and the Minnesota Vikings, the team that stunned the Saints with a final play win last January, are also 10 to 1 to win the Super Bowl.

The AFC Champion New England Patriots, who seem no matter the circumstances to get to the Super Bowl just about every season and put up a fight, are the favorites according to most betting sites as they sit at 7 to 1 to yet again win the Super Bowl.

When you look at the team odds to win the NFC, things get a lot more interesting, as the Saints are fighting a lot of good competition heading into the 2018 season.

The Eagles and Vikings are both right up there at the top to win the Conference, as both teams were right there at the end of the 2017 season playing in the NFC Title game won by the Eagles, and there’s some newcomers to the list that are going to push the Saints if they want to be in the hunt to win the NFC in 2018.

Among the teams that are also highly ranked are the Green Bay Packers, led by QB Aaron Rodgers (8/1), the Los Angeles Rams, who the Saints bested in the Wild Card game last season (13/2), and the Atlanta Falcons, who the Saints know all too well about being in the NFC South (10/1).

The Saints will have plenty of chances to get the job done in 2018, as they will take on all the top contenders in the NFC, with showdowns against the Falcons, the Rams, as well as the Eagles, a measuring stick they will be ready for taking on the defending Super Bowl champions.

While the team gets ready for the season, there is still a lot of work to be done, and they also have to avoid injury in order to make sure they don’t fall into the trap of being a team that has high expectations that don’t get the job done.
