The New Orleans Saints will begin their quest for another Super Bowl championship this Sunday against division rivals Atlanta. With the season finally upon us, excitement is rampant and that’s being seen in very high ticket prices on the secondary market. This week’s game is certainly no exception.
Currently, the average ticket price is $216.94 for this week’s home opener. That price has dipped 32% over the past week as the game gets closer and closer, but is still higher than the majority of games this week. The get-in price is $97, higher than all Saints’ home games this year except for matchups against the Cowboys and 49ers.
If you dig deep into the available inventory for the Saints from TicketCity, you’ll find some interesting bargains relative to the get-in price. For example, the get-in price of $97 mentioned above was for a listing in the upper deck 600 level seating. Meanwhile, for only $53 more, you can sit all the way down in the lower level in Section 102, Row 27 behind the end zone. The next lower 100 level listing is in Section 128 and priced at $175, $26 more than the Section 102 seats.
As is the case with every live event, tickets will drop as we get closer to Sunday’s kickoff. Ticket sellers will keep lowering their prices to ensure they don’t have to eat their tickets, so chances are you’ll be able to find some great deals if you’re looking to see Drew Brees and Matt Ryan face off this weekend.
