The December 4 meeting in Week 13 between the Lions and Saints at the Superdome has been flexed into prime time, the league announced on Monday.
Originally scheduled for a 1pm ET kickoff, Detroit-New Orleans replaces the Colts-Patriots match-up, which was moved to a 1pm ET kickoff earlier this month.
For the Saints, it will be a fourth appearance in prime time and third appearance on NBC. The Saints opened the season against the Packers on Thursday, September 8 and hosted the Colts on October 23. New Orleans will host the Giants next Monday night and will host the Falcons on Monday, December 26.
