Posted in Saints head coach Sean Payton sustained a knee injury during the first half of today’s game against the Buccaneers.
Payton was injured when Saints tight end Jimmy Graham was tacked on the team’s sideline.
The team announced that Payton will undergo X-rays during halftime, but FOXSports.com’s Jay Glazer reports, via studio host Curt Menefee, that Payton has a broken tibia and torn MCL.
Payton could resume coaching from the booth.
