The Saints made a statement on Sunday, handing the Los Angeles Rams their first loss of 2018, topping them 45-35 in front of a wild crowd in New Orleans.
Drew Brees was magnificent, throwing for for 346 yards and four touchdowns in the Saints seventh straight win, and his favorite target was Michael Thomas, who caught a career-high 211 yards, including a late 72-yard score in which he gave a salute to former Saints WR Joe Horn.

Saints feature running back Alvin Kamara scored three times, twice on runs and once on a 16-yard catch-and-run, all of which came in the first half.
The Saints had a big lead but the Rams did rally, thanks in part to QB Jared Goff, who in defeat passed for 391 yards and three TDs.
