Every Week Every Game

It’s that point of the season and thanks to the Panthers (sarcasm) the Saints are now in playoff mode. Out of the 5 games that the Saints have left, there are no breather’s left on the schedule, to be honest the whole season seemed to have been filled with must win games. One of the things to this point the Saints coaches, players and organization has been able to do is take it one game at a time. That’s a credit to the focus of the coaches and players.

It’s easy not to look beyond the game next Monday night in Seattle. Most of the time if you give Payton 11 days to prepare for an opponent the results are going to be pretty good for Saints fans. Two problems with it this time, one the game is being played in Seattle which has at least as strong of a home field advantage as the Saints do when they play at home. Secondly is that the Seahawks are a pretty good team that has captured the media’s fancy.

For the next 8 days there will be a lot written about how it is going to be almost impossible for the Saints to go up and get a win in Seattle. Some of them will use phrases like “steal a win”. The Saints are more than capable of going up to Seattle and winning without having to depend on a lucky break, which at this time seems like the only way the “experts” think the Saints can win.

The Saints offense needs no one to defend them, a special unit already, the progress that has been made in the running game will put a lot of fear in opposing teams who can’t afford to not concentrate on stopping Brees and the passing game. The Saints defense has shown all year long that the players are capable and Ryan is has the ability to put a game plane together to play with anyone.
This game will be decided by what decides most games between two very good teams. That is the team that plays with the fewest mistakes will come out on top. This very well could be a preview of the NFC Championship game in January with the question being who the home team will be in that game.

But for right now, the Saints players and coaches aren’t thinking about that, they are thinking about this game and nothing beyond. It’s worked 9 times so far this season, here’s to it working a 10th time.

This is very diificult to read with so many grammatical errors: subject-verb agreement, run-on sentences and misplaced modifiers. Needs serious proofreading.
