As the season goes on, each weeks set of games gain in importance. This week is of particular importance for two NFC South teams, the Saints and Panthers. The Saints lead in the division has shrunk to 1 game and with the Saints upcoming schedule the game against the Cowboys falls into the must win category. The Panthers have a must win game of their own when they travel to San Francisco to play the 49ers as they try and at a minimum keep pace with the Saints.\
The Brees to Stills connection has produced some big plays this year.
Atlanta host the Seahawks in yet another game that has implications for the Saints and the Panthers. A victory by the Falcons and a Saints victory over the Cowboys would even the Saints and Seahawks in the loss column.
NFC South Standings
Week 10 Schedule
Seattle Seahawks @ Atlanta Falcons – Like I said earlier, the importance for this game is if the Falcons can come up with a win at home. The Seahawks with an 8-1 record have been a good road team. The Falcons on the other hand haven’t been good anywhere. My prediction: Seahawks 27 -17
Carolina Panthers @ San Francisco 49ers – Carolina is one of the hottest teams in the NFL right now. The bad news for the Panthers is they are facing a team that has been on an even more impressive role in the 49ers. My Prediction: 49ers 31 Panthers 21
Dallas Cowboys @ New Orleans Saints – Enough talk, this is an important game for both teams. This should be a lot of fun. My Prediction: Saints 34 Cowboys 21
Miami Dolphins @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers – When the MNF people look at this game they have to be beating their heads against the walls. Dolphins 28 Bucs 10.
