Bill’s Power Rankings

Last week the 5 undefeated teams all played on the road, now there are only 3. This week the Chiefs and Broncos are at home and the Saints go on the road to take on the Patriots.

There are a lot of great games on tap for this week, it should tell us a lot about who is for real and who is still pretending at this point in the season.
Rank Team W/L Comments
Broncos 5-0 Even though the defense looked bad, until Manning and the offense shows some weakness, you have to keep Denver at #1
Saints 5-0 Saints are rolling and have shown that they can win on the road as well as at home.
SeaHawks 4-1 Seahawks have played one of the rougher schedules to this point in the season, that’s why I kept them ahead of KC.
Chiefs 5-0 Even though KC is at 5-0, they’ve been catching teams at just the right time. We’ll see what happens when the schedule gets tougher.
Colts 4-1 Luck and the Colts are getting better and better. Ask the Seahawks.
Patriots 4-1 With Wilfork out of the lineup, the defense against the run has to be a major concern for the Pats.
Dolphins 3-2 Miami has to find a way to keep Tannehill on his feet or he may not make it through the season.
Ravens 3-2 Ravens with Rice are a different team.
Lions 3-2 The big three for the Lions have to stay healthy.
49ers 3-2 The 49ers, have found strength in their running game, but what happened to the Kaepernick that was QB last year?
Bengals 3-2 Great win for Cincy at home against the Pats. Now they need to do it on the road.
Browns 3-2 How far can the Browns go, that is the question.
Bears 3-2 The Bears problems aren’t on offense, they need better play from their defense.
Cardinals 3-2 Cardinals are having a good year. Too bad they play in the same division with the Seahawks.
Jets 3-2 Who is the surprise team of the year? Guess how Atlanta voted.
Titans 3-2 Very good defense, need to see if they can survive the storm until Locker gets back.
Texans 2-3 Texans need to live on their running game until either Schaub gets his groove back or they replace him.
Bills 2-3 Another team with a good defense, winning with a rookie QB is never easy.
Cowboys 2-3 It’s not Romo’s fault the Cowboys are 2-3, hey they’re still tied for First in the NFC East.
Chargers 2-3 It’s always a mystery as to which team will show up on game day.
Eagles 2-3 Foles looks like an upgrade to Vick.
Raiders 2-3 Pryor has the makings of a decent QB, but can he stay healthy?
Rams 2-3 Typical Jeff Fisher team but that won’t get it done in the NFC West this year.
Packers 2-2 Big win against Detroit, did the bye week get the Packers back on track?
Falcons 1-4 WOW
Redskins 1-3 Did the bye week help the Skins to find some answers on defense?
Panthers 1-3 Is Cam Newton better than this? Or is this as good as it gets?
Vikings 1-3 Did Freeman bring his baggage with him? We won’t know for at least a week.
Giants 0-5 Every week I keep thinking things can’t get worse for Eli. Then the games start.
Steelers 0-4 You have to keep wondering when the Steelers will say “Hey we’re the Steelers” and start winning.
Buccaneers 0-4 LAF = Life after Freeman. What will that be like?
Jaguars 0-5 Still looking for a Tebow sighting.
