With Atlanta falling to 1-3 with their loss against the Patriots Sunday night and the Panthers on their bye week, the Saints could go up by 2 1/2 games on the Panthers and 3 full games on the Falcons in the NFC South with a win tonight against the Dolphins.
The game against the Dolphins is the beginning of a three game stretch that is as tough as anyone in the league will face this year. After Miami the Saints travel to Chicago and then New England, so a win tonight will give the Saints a little breathing room in the race for the NFC South crown.
Keys to the Game for the Saints:
Put pressure on Tannehill: Tannehill has made big strides in his second year and with the addition of Mike Wallace he has a legitimate game breaker. The Saints need to keep doing what they have been doing all year and that is keep the pressure on.
Saints O-Line needs to step up: The one area the Saints can and must improve has been the play of the offensive line. Brees has been sacked and pressured constantly in the first three games and nothing needs to be said about the running game.
