Beaux Knows: Week 4 picks and More

So the results from Beaux’s (my Great Pyrenees pup) challenge to me wasn’t even close. He ended up going 9-7 while I went 12-4. Of course he had some excuses such as; Packers got robbed, Vikings need a new QB, etc… But after all the grief he gave me about my picks the week before I have no pity for him.
Since he’s thinking he was mistreated last week I offered to go 2 out of 3 with him. Time to teach Mr. Beaux another lesson….I think he just marked my flops on the back porch.
Beaux Knows
Picks for Week 4, feel free to chime in:
Week 4 Beaux’s picks My Picks.
San Francisco at St. Louis  San Francisco St. Louis. The Rams played the 49ers tough both times they played last year. With the 49ers going through a rough time, look for St. Louis to take advantage of them while they are at home. Rams 21-17
Baltimore at Buffalo Baltimore Baltimore. The Ravens are just simply a better team than the Bills. Ravens 24-7
Cincinnati at Cleveland Cincinnati Cleveland. This is my upset for the week. Cincinnati has to watch for this being a gotcha game. Beaux says “Gotcha game or not Bengal’s roll”. After last weeks picks doesn’t surprise me Beaux is going conservative….. Browns 23-21
Chicago at Detroit Chicago Detroit. The Lions have a lot to prove and this is a tough divisional game for the Bears. Beaux thinks Chicago is going to start running the pistol after watching Cutler run over the Steeler’s defensive back last week.  Detroit 28-24
Seattle at Houston Seattle Houston. Texans are out to prove that they are the real deal. To do that you have to overcome adversities like getting beat up in Baltimore and then coming home to play the Seattle, Beaux doesn’t think it’s possible…..what does he know, he was 9-7 last week. Texans 35-31
Indianapolis at Jacksonville Indianapolis Indianapolis. Does anything really need to be said? Colts 31-7
New York Giants at Kansas City Giants KC. Really Beaux? The only thing I can figure is that Beaux is thinking sooner or later the Giants have to turn it around….Glad I don’t think that way. Chiefs 27- 21
Pittsburgh at Minnesota Minnesota Minnesota. Are these really the Steelers? Vikings 24-21
Arizona at Tampa Bay Arizona Tampa Bay. I just have a feeling that Tampa’s defense is going to get 4 personal fouls and they will still manage to win the game. Bucs 17-14
New York Jets at Tennessee Tennessee Tennessee. Titans remind me of the Bucs, except they have a better offense. Titans 28-14. Beaux just said I was copying his pics…… not.
Philadelphia at Denver Denver Denver. Until the Broncos find a way to lose it’s going to be hard to pick against them. Broncos 35- 17
Washington at Oakland Washington Oakland. I still don’t think RGIII is healthy. Beaux can’t believe I’m picking the Raiders. Raiders 27-24
Dallas at San Diego Dallas San Diego. Chargers are due for a win and I don’t think Dallas is that good on the road. Chargers 28-17
New England at Atlanta New England New England. Somehow Brady has managed to keep hope alive, now it looks like their offense is coming alive. Patriots in a squeaker. 31-30
Miami at New Orleans New Orleans New Orleans. Saints at home. Miami is vastly improved this year. But the Saints defense will find a way to shut down the Fins offense. Beaux just called me a Homer, but I noticed he’s picking NO as well. Saints 31-14

Bye Week: Green Bay, Tampa Bay

After 3 weeks nfl. com has the Saints ranked #4 in total defense and #6 in total offense.
