Darren Sproles is out indefinitely with a broken hand, Katherine Terrell of the New Orleans Times-Picayune reports. This according to interim head coach Joe Vitt.
Sproles broke his hand and had surgery, Vitt said. He’ll be out indefinitely, although Vitt did not put a timetable on his return.
“I really don’t know that,” he said. “We’ll evaluate him again next week.”
Vitt was also vague on the details of the injury and wouldn’t say which hand required surgery.
“Whatever hand you put down, you have a 50-50 chance of being right,” he told the local media.
