Roman Harper Fined $22,500 For Two Incidents

Saints safety Roman Harper was fined $22,500 for two penalties from last Sunday’s 22-17 win over the Tennessee Titans, Mike Triplett of The Times-Picayune reports.

Harper was fined $7,500 for a face mask penalty while tackling Titans wide receiver Damian Williams and $15,000 for a helmet-to-helmet hit on quarterback Matt Hasselbeck in the second quarter.

The veteran safety was also fined $15,000 for a personal foul penalty after a late hit on Carolina Panthers wide receiver Steve Smith in Week 5.

He is out of control. Saints fans are tired of him making the team look bad. He needs to be suspended and/or sent to play for Oakland.
