Pro Football Weekly reports that WR Adrian Arrington may have a bigger role for the Saints this upcoming season.
A bigger role might be in store for Saints WR Adrian Arrington this season.
Arrington, a seventh-round pick in 2008, received his first taste of NFL regular-season action last season — he made a game-high seven catches for 79 yards against the Buccaneers in Week 17 — and we’re hearing the Saints believe he’s ready for a spot on the active roster every week.
The team’s moves in the upcoming free-agent signing period will help dictate Arrington’s involvement on offense. He would be a natural replacement for Devery Henderson if the Saints decide to cut Henderson, and the New Orleans Times-Picayune suggested last month that parting ways with Henderson is a possibility for the team.
That guy shows something every time he gets an opportunity. I wonder what keeps him off the active roster every year.
