Is Chris Ivory a One-Year Wonder in New Orleans?

Matt Williamson of Scouts, Inc. writes that running back Chris Ivory could end up being a “one-year semi-wonder” in New Orleans. Ivory showed promise last year as a power runner but had problems with both injuries and fumbles. Unfortunately for him, the Saints traded back into the first round of this year’s draft to select Alabama running back Mark Ingram. Ingram brings everything to the table that the undrafted Ivory did “and much more.” With Pierre Thomas also there to take away carries, Ivory will likely be no better than a third-string running back for the Saints next season.

  1. Rob says:

A RB rotation of Ingram, Thomas, Bush, and Ivory suits me. As long as two or three of those guys are healthy every week, the Saints will be fine. They need all of them.
