Men in Dresses Honor Local Sports Personality

Bobby Hebert (center in gold dress and umbrella), The Gris Gris Man, and a host of other Saints characters took to the street in honor of the late, great sports radio personality Buddy Diliberto.
All the Saints characters came out in full force Sunday to honor the late Buddy D. Who Dat Nation founder Bobby Hebert, along with hundreds of other men, fulfilled Buddy D.’s promise of parading down Bourbon Street in a dress if the Saints ever made it to the Super Bowl.
Thousands of Saints fans lined the streets of the parade route to cheer on Bobby from the Superdome to Bourbon. The 610 Stompers and several brass bands spurred up the lively crowd on a cold day.
If this is what a preview of the Saints victory parade will be like come Feb. 9th, then it should be a fun time by all. For those of you who have never been to a Mardi Gras, this is what it’s like.
In case you missed the parade, here’s some raw footage of the festivities..
