7 Days until Kickoff: Minnesota Vikings at New Orleans Saints (NFC Championship)

The long awaited championship game is finally upon us and New Orleans is ecstatic to not only have their team in the game, but to have their team playing at home. It is the first time in Saints history that NFC Championship game has come to New Orleans. The Vikings plowed through the Dallas Cowboy yesterday 34-3 and as we know the Saints rumbled through Warner and the Cardinals 45-14.

This game is going to be all about offense, or so we thought. The #1 and #2 offenses are playing in this game as well as the #1 and #2 quarterbacks (by rating), but there’s something that has all of a sudden sparked in these defenses. In Minnesota’s last five regular season games they lost three, and the Vikings defense allowed thirty points on average in those three losses. The Saints defense played terrible as well in their last few games. They let the Cowboys bully them and even the Buccaneers made a 17 point comeback.

Yesterday, the Vikings defense played stellar. The Cowboys didn’t even score a touchdown and Romo was dropped six times, coughing it up three times. In Saturday’s game with the Saints, the turnover ratio was +2 almost +3 but was called back for a personal foul penalty. On top of that the pass rush to Warner was ridiculous including an injury to the quarterback, and Fitzgerald hardly touched the ball. These defenses are really playing aggressive and will play hard for the championship game.

On offense, here are the quarterback stats for Favre and Brees for this past weekend.

Brett Favre                                                       Drew Brees

Touchdowns: 4                                                 Touchdowns: 3

Interceptions: 0                                                 Interceptions : 0

Yards: 234                                                       Yards: 247

Completion Percentage: 63%                            Completion Percentage: 72%

Admired your team most of the season. Then again, I admired the Vikings most of the season. It should be a fun game. I am not sure why the late start tho ? lets Go Vikings

The Buffalo Bills jerseys wholesale from china team he’s taking over hasn’t made the playoffs in a decade and its fans have been clamoring for Bill Cowher during a coaching search that seemed to take forever.

Instead of landing one of the big-name coaches with loaded resumes such as Cowher or Mike Shanahan, Gailey—who coached the Dallas Cowboys jerseys wholesale from china for two less-than-inspiring seasons—was introduced Tuesday as the 15th head coach in Bills history—and fifth in 10 year
