Saints-Cardinals Injury Report

This week’s injury reports are in and things are looking good for the Saints. When the Saints last played in Week 17, they listed 17 players on the injury report. This week, just four. The Saints definitely used the bye week to get healthy again.

New Orleans Saints

RB Pierre Thomas (ribs) – Probable

WR Lance Moore (ankle) – Probable

DE Bobby McCray (back) – Probable

CB Malcolm Jenkins (hamstring) – Probable

Again, the Saints appear to be as healthy as they have been all season. The return of Moore and Thomas only adds to the weapons available for Drew Brees on offense.  McCray will be asked primarily to pass rush Kurt Warner and disrupt the Cardinals’ passing attack.  Jenkins will be called in on nickel and dime packages on defense and should return on special teams.

Arizona Cardinals

WR Anquan Boldin (ankle) – Questionable

LB Gerald Hayes (ankle) – Questionable

LB Will Davis (knee) – Questionable

DE Calais Campbell (thumb) – Questionable

FS Antrel Rolle (Thigh) – Probable

CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie (knee/toe) – Probable

CB Bryant McFadden (chest) – Probable

P Ben Graham (Groin) – Probable

K Neil Rackers (Groin) – Probable

The Cardinals could again play with their top WR in Boldin. The WR practiced on a limited basis Friday for the first time this week.  Bolden is also suffering from an MCL sprain and is a game-time decision.

The Cardinals seemed to be a bit banged upon defense as well.  Hayes is the best LB the Cardinals have against the run. The secondary seems a bit banged up but they should all play come game time.
