I hope that Reggie Bush gets back on the field soon. But the Saints are a good enough team to win without him. Poor play calling and coaching decisions have done more to hurt this team than all the injuries combined. Payton seems to be more wrapped up in Drew Brees' stats than he is in any other aspect of the game. Instead of shopping the league for punters and more targets for Brees, he should have been in search of quality corners and safeties. Our defense sucks and the offense is inconsistent, even with the No. 1 rated quarterback. What's worse is that we're only one loss away from having our season totally flushed down the toilet again!

I think Payton needs a reality check. It's obvious he's still high on his first year's successes. Well, Sean, that's old news! You've suffered one losing season and having a second one back-to-back is not out of the question. You'd better wake up and realize that the arm of Drew Brees alone is NOT going to carry the Saints into victory every game; the team needs balance. You have a formidable running game at your disposal, but you abandon it on a whim for no reason. Stop being so one-dimensional, man. That makes you predictable. Take it from me, the fans of New Orleans are tired of losing. Losing doesn't sell tickets and pack stadiums; winning does. You'd better get your mind right.
