Defensive Tackle Thomas Out for Up to 2 Months
Defensive Tackle Hollis Thomas tore his right triceps on Wednesday during pass rushing drills and will miss up to two months. Thomas had an MRI that afternoon and underwent surgery Thursday morning. The Saints may end up putting Thomas on injured reserve but the Times-Picayune speculated that the injury could possibly be career-ending after 13 [...]

The New Orleans Saints showed that there is no question in how great their offense still is and will become in 2008. Even without Deuce, Shockey, and Colston playing last week. The Saints marched down the field for 80 yards and a touchdown on their opening drive.
The defense held their own, but still showed they [...]
Breaking Down the First Saints Preseason Game
The Saints first team offense, took the field Thursday night without starters Deuce McAllister, Marques Colston, and Jeremy Shockey. You would not have thought that because Drew Brees and company drove down the field, capping the fist drive with a Drew Brees sweet touch pass to David Patten.

Drew [...]

But, on Tuesday Sheppard made it clear he [...]
Are The Stars Aligning For Saints RB Thomas?
Last year the Saints traded up to get Antonio Pittman in the 4th round. I remember watching last year’s preseason games, and saying to myself “That Thomas guy looks good, but he will probably not make the roster”, man was I wrong.
The Saints instead released Pittman, and kept the undrafted rookie from Illinois. The Saints [...]
Don?t Worry The Saints Will Be Ready Come Regular Season
There have been allot of questions, the last few months on how much injuries will affect the 2008 season for the New Orleans Saints.
Deuce McAllister is by far a big component of the Saints offense, without a big bruising back coming out of the backfield; the Saints will only have a passing game. It will [...]
