Tracy Porter could not do worse than him, I say throw the rookie out there, and he will make some plays. He has better speed, and height, he may have a bad game or 2, but he would come together.

The only hope I have is that the coaching staff is smart enough to not have him starting come week 1. In fact, I wish we would drop him or trade him but honestly I dont see anybody wanting him and we are paying him too much to cut him but time will tell.

We in New Orleans need to know more of the infamy of #42 in the outlying areas like Dallas. Is it in any press in Dallas? This guy is almost as welcome in this town as Mike Brown of FEMA fame. Any sports persona who has a microphone or a keyboard is letting the Washington State grad have it hard.

Most everyone in the metropolitan New Oreans area knows that name as something bad, now.

e.g. "Everything was going great and then a Jason David happened."

e.g. "I had some nice bananas in the window, but I couldn't get to them before Jason David did."

e.g. "My date went like Jason David's career."

Tony,
Glad I missed the game also and don't have NFL Network. I knew when my phone never rings during a SAINTS game, bad things are happening. Sounds like our defensive depth is full of mediocre at best.
But, it is preseason and trial and error are supposedly a part of the process. I am truly concerned that the CB position will once again be our achilles. D-line aint playing much either if you ask me.
Maybe Cinci will give me greater hope.
