Meachem? We missed out several quality line backers last year that we could have taken in the latter picks of the first round. While I agree that Payton is a quality coach, he is big boom or big bust with drafting and play calling. Colston vs. Meachem and Double Reverses inside the 5 for touchdowns and double reverses that are fumbled by the king of fumbles reggie bush with the game on the line. He has done what past coaches failed to do, is bring in and find impact players at key positions. We still have alot of work to do (like get more athletic OLBs), but it's shaping up. Payton has a knack for finding a gem late in the draft and is not afraid to cut a 'name' if he has an 7th rounder or an UDFA who is turning heads.
