CB Butler Inked After Weekend Tryout

The Saints have come to terms with veteran corner Jerametrius Butler according to ESPN’s John Clayton. The team had Butler in over the weekend for a tryout, and Clayton broke the story early today. The team will have some solid depth at the CB spot with Butler, as you add him and have Mike McKenzie coming back from knee surgery, add in Randall Gay who came in this past offseason and Tracy Porter as well, and this unit should be a ton better. Butler was with the Bills last season and played in 7 games with one start. He was a starter with the Rams in 2003 and 2004, but got hurt in 2005 and lost his starting role.
