Saints DE Charles Grant was stabbed early Sunday morning after an altercation at a nightclub in Georgia. Grant is okay, as he was treated and released. A pregnant woman was shot and killed as well during the alteraction. “We’re aware of the situation and are gathering information,” New Orleans Saints spokesman Greg Bensel said. “Until we complete the process, we will have no further comment.” The report says that there was no known connection between Grant and the woman that was killed. Grant, a native of Colquitt, Ga., who now lives in Kenner, La., had 2 1/2 sacks in 2007 while starting 14 games for the Saints.

SHE WAS PREGNANT AT THE TIME OF HER DEATH. GRANT AND HIS COUSIN WERE INVOLVED AND I AM PERSONALLY GOING TO BLAKELY, GA AND START AN INVESTIGATION BECAUSE HE JUST CAN’T WALK AWAY FROM THIS BECAUSE HIS LAWYER AND GRANT BELIEVE IT WAS JUST A SIMPLE COUNTRY GAIL AND SHE WAS OF NO IMPORTANT. I DON’T BELIEVE HIS FAMILY OR GRANT HAVE OFFER THE REED FAMILY ANY CONDOLENCES BECAUSE I AM SURE HIS LAWYER ADVISE HIM THAT THIS WOULD MAKE HIM LOOK GUILTY. I HEARD HE GOT IN A FIGHT WHILE IN ATLANTA, GA. AND THAT’S HOW HE GOT STABLE. GOD KNOWS AND SOMEONE WILL PAY FOR THE PAIN AND SUFFER OF THESE THREE LITTLE CHILDREN LEFT WITHOUT SOMEONE TO CARE FOR THEM. SHAME ON U GRANT. U WERE A GOOD OLD COUNTRY BOY AT ONE TIME. I want to say to Earthangel 71 that Grant is my cousin and he is very hurt over the young lady. Right now he can’t say anything. The fight was not in ATL, but Blakely and he was also an innocent bystander. He was not fighting. Because of the nature of things, he can’t yet say anything, but he is a good person. I feel terrible about 3 kids being left behind and the young lady who lost her life. I know her parents. The club and that entire block has always been dangerous and needs to be shut down, plus its an eysore to the community. I know-I grew up there.
Earth A…don’t jump to conclusions. If he is at fault he should be punnished but you acting like that because you assume he is at fault is almost as criminal as the crime itself.
