Bush Practices; Does Not Say If He’ll Play or Not Sunday

Reggie Bush was back at practice today for the Saints, but was not giving any clues to his status to playing at home Sunday vs the Eagles.  “I guess you guys have to wait and see,” Bush said with a smile. “I can’t give that away yet.”  Bush has a torn knee ligament, but he has planned all along to practice this week, and coach Sean Payton said Monday he expected Bush to at least be able to take some reps.  It could be a big boost for the Saints, who are still a game behind the Vikings for the final wild card spot in the NFC.  The team without Bush has been able to run the ball rather well the last two weeks.  “One encouraging thing is we’ve been able to run the ball in these last two games and it’s given us some balance, which is something we’ve been looking for,” Payton said. “Aaron’s done a good job. We’ve done a good job up front. So each week, depending on which team we’re playing and what we’re seeing defensively, we’ll try to do what’s best to score points.”
