Saints Sign Veteran Safety Jay Bellamy

The New Orleans Saints have signed S Jay Bellamy. Bellamy will take the roster spot of RB Deuce McAllister, who is out for the season with a torn ACL. The Saints secondary definitely needs help, they have not defended the pass very well this year. Bellamy is a 14 year veteran who has played for the Saints and Seattle Seahawks. Bellamy was cut on Monday by the Seahawks.
